Garden Waste Collection Service - 2024 Update

South Holland District Council resumed expansion of it's successful and highly popular Garden Waste collection service in January 2024, offering  garden waste bins to thousands more residents across the District.

Following this success the Council will again, throughout summer '24, be offering garden waste subscriptions to eligible households.  A new phased programme of work will shortly begin over coming weeks to meet the growing demand from residents who are signed up to the 'Register Of Interest' list.

Residents who have contacted the Council previously about joining the garden waste scheme and registered their interest, do not need to contact the Council again.  Officers will contact eligible households and provide all the necessary information required for signing up to the scheme and how to receive a garden waste bin.  Contact will be made by text, email and/or phone.

Households who have been on the list the longest will be given priority and grouped in geographical areas in order to join pre-existing routes.
