Household Support Fund

The Government's Household Support Fund grant has been made available to county councils and unitary authorities in England to support those most in need.

The Government is providing Lincolnshire with a further £5.5m for the fifth round of the programme, which will run until 30 September 2024. 

Lincolnshire Councils have worked together to decide how this additional funding is most effectively use to help Lincolnshire residents most in need.

Funding has used been provided to schools and early years providers for children eligible for  free school meals and early years pupil premium and to support to care leavers in supported living accommodation.

Those eligible for these two grants will be contacted directly and will not have to apply for this support.

 

Due to the volume of applications received we are not accepting new applications for the Household Support Fund until further notice. 

If you have submitted an application, please allow 4 weeks for it to be reviewed and you will be notified of the outcome

 

South Holland District Council has used the Household Support Fund to help local food banks, charities and community support.

Lincolnshire Community Foundation are administering the Household Support Fund for South & East Lincolnshire.

Households in financial hardship can apply for a voucher to help with food, clothes or other essentials.

Residents facing financial difficulties can also visit the government's Cost of Living Hub and Help for Households.

In addition, there is a Holiday Food and Activity programme for children eligible for benefits-related free school meals.
