Markets privacy notice

Your privacy is very important to South Holland District Council.

Why we need your personal data

The processing of your data is necessary under Article 6(b) of the GDPR. This is because you as an individual have been asked to take specific steps before entering into a contract with South Holland District Council.

The information you provide will be used to process your application to:

  • become a casual or regular market trader
  • book and pay for a market stall.

The information we need from you:

  • full name
  • insurance number or market federation number
  • proof of address
  • contact details (phone and/or email address).

How your data is used

Processing of your data is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which you are party or in order to process this request to enter into agreement with South Holland District Council.

Your data will be processed via GOSS iCM web forms and will be stored within a secure database.

How long the information is kept for

We will only hold your information for as long as is required by law and to provide you with the necessary services. This is likely to be for seven years after you cease being a Market Trader.
