I have accommodation but it is not suitable for me on medical grounds

If your accommodation is having a negative impact on your health (either physical or mental), please speak to medical professionals or support services in the first instance to see whether there is any help available to adapt your property to enable you to continue to live there.

You may also be eligible to apply for a Disabled Facilities Grant from the Council: Disabled adaptations to your home - South Holland District Council (sholland.gov.uk)

If your current home cannot be adapted and you believe you need to move, please complete this Medical Assessment Form (PDF) [307KB] (opens new window)  and return it to housingoptions@sholland.gov.uk along with a patient summary from your GP. Please include any other supporting evidence from medical professionals or support workers which you think may be relevant.

 

I have accommodation but my landlord is refusing to carry out repairs

Landlords have a duty to carry out appropriate repairs to properties and to make sure the property is in a reasonable and habitable condition.
