Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP)

SWEP is a voluntary process put in place by district housing authorities to ensure that people sleeping rough are not at risk of harm during periods of extreme cold or other severe weather conditions.

The seven Lincolnshire districts have arrangements in place to prevent and respond to rough sleeping at all times of the year. For full details see the  Lincolnshire Severe Weather Protocol (SWEP) 2020/21 (PDF) [637KB] (opens new window)
