11. My family member has passed away. They were a Council tenant. What do I do?

We appreciate this is a very difficult time for you and the family and we will help in any way we can. Please contact us on 01775 761161 to confirm the name of the tenant that has passed away and their date of death.  Please let us know if there is a will, and if so, the names and contact details of any executors We will advise on the next steps including whether anyone has the right to inherit the tenancy, known as succession.
