Chairman's Open Mic Night
The South Holland Centre, was the venue for the Chairman's Charity Open Mic Night, held on 26 January 2024.
This was the first time the South Holland Centre had hosted an open mic event, providing a great venue and a really entertaining night. Eleven acts performed alongside our compere Zeph Churchill, with some acts travelling a great distance to be a part of the show.
It was a great mix of pro comics and newer acts with a great variety of material which kept everyone laughing. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for new comedians to perform alongside some very established headline acts.
There were many highlights of the evening, including Alan Simmons with his ventriliquist act, mentalist, Jason Simmons and newbie Michael Salvadori.
The event closed with stand-up comedian Keith Farnan, leaving the audience highly entertained before the evening came to a close.
The Chairman came on to the stage to thank all the acts for giving their time to perform and presented Zeph Churchill with flowers.
Thanks also to the SHC tech team for all their production.
The event raised £170 for the Chairman's Charities.
