South Holland District Council is seeking support from both residents and businesses, particularly in the Holbeach and Crowland areas on a new 'Wellbeing Map' initiative which aims to highlight local facilities, organisations and spaces available to boost wellbeing locally.

The initiative will be done at zero cost for those included and will focus in the Holbeach and Crowland areas of the District, before expanding outward over time.

The ambition is to support both public and private sector partners, community groups, local facilities and healthy living spaces in a bid to boost local residents' mental health and wellbeing.

Councillor Tracey Carter, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Communities and Operational Housing, said: "Our collective understanding of mental health and wellbeing has come a long way in recent years and this initiative underpins the Council's ambition to support our residents by highlighting the fantastic local opportunities and facilities we have around us.

"Whilst we're initially looking just at Holbeach and Crowland, the plan will be to expand   out over time and I'd like to encourage as many local people, businesses and groups to get in touch with us and engage with any suggestions so we can make this a big success."

The deadline for entries is Friday 1 March 2024.

Residents, businesses and organisations are encouraged to send their suggestions to be included on the Council's wellbeing map to Community Leadership Manager, Nichola Holderness at Nichola.holderness@boston.gov.uk
