Have your say on the proposed increases to taxi licensing fees

 Consultation: 11 April 2024 to 9 May 2024

In accordance with Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, we are consulting regarding increasing the fees paid for applications associated with taxi and private hire vehicle, driver and operator licences.

Deadline

Comments must be received by 9 May 2024.

What happens next

·         If no objections are received or are received and withdrawn before the consultation deadline, the proposed fee increase shall come into force on 10 May 2024.

·         If objections are received, the council will consider them and set a new date when the new fees will come into force.
