The fairest pantomime of them all is coming to Spalding this December!

Polka Dot Pantomimes and the South Holland Centre are working hard to put on 40 Snow White performances over the Christmas period.

Snow White is promising to be a 'fun-filled family pantomime' with lots of audience participation, dazzling costumes and hilarious humour.

The team at Polka Dot Pantomimes have begun setting up, including painting the stage, conducting on-site rehearsals, and beginning the 'get-in' process, in preparation for the opening performance on Saturday 7 December.

Public performances of Snow White are available from Saturday 7 to Monday 30 December, with performances reserved for schools taking up some of the slots.

A range of additional performances are available, including a show with sign language interpreters for the deaf or hard of hearing, and a relaxed performance with less noise, less audience participation, and calmer light and sound effects.

The cast includes Lauren Fielding as Snow White, AJ Adams as Muddles, Kerry Maskell as the Wicked Queen and more.

Tickets are still available for £15.50-17.00 with varying availability for most performances, while a few time slots have already sold out. Tickets can be booked online through the South Holland Centre's website (https://www.southhollandcentre.co.uk/whats-on/view/snow-white) or by ringing the box office on 01775 764777.

Joanne Mackel, Manager for the South Holland Centre, said: "I am very excited that the South Holland Centre is offering so many performances of Snow White throughout December!

It's a perfect Christmas treat for the whole family, and if you haven't booked your tickets yet, it's easy to do so online or by calling our friendly box office staff during the South Holland Centre's opening times."

Producer Darren Maddison commented: "We are delighted to be returning to the South Holland Centre this Christmas, which is a perfect venue for pantomime. Every audience member feels included and part of the action, and the atmosphere at every show is electric! Snow White has something for everyone, and our pantomimes can be enjoyed by every generation - and it's wonderful to see families coming together to watch this wonderful British tradition".

Returning cast member Kevin Baines, who this year plays Nanny Nelly, can't wait to be back in Spalding: "I love the audiences in Spalding - they are very vocal, join in with everything and know how to have a great time! Panto at the South Holland Centre is a real team effort and we love spreading the Christmas cheer! I'm really excited this year as the production team have pulled out all the stops to create perfect panto magic".
