Communities Christmas light switch on event

The Chairman and Santa both attended the Communities Christmas light switch on event.

Santa was inside Calthrops Solicitors which was transformed into Santa's Grotto, Santa with help from the Spalding Flower Queen and her Deputy, welcomed lots of children who all waited to visit Santa, Santa spent time talking with all the children and every child received a free gift.

The Chairman had a great time judging the fancy dress competition, and gave thanks to everyone who had entered, all the costumes were amazing and it was difficult to choose a winner.

The evening finished with Santa switching on the Town Centre lights, which looked fantastic.

The Town was busy with people coming from all over the district to enjoy the many activities that were provided.

The Chairman wishes to thank everyone who made a donation towards his Charities, Blood cancer and Mencap, the total raised was £440.
