Chairman's Santa Fun Run

The Chairman's Santa Fun Run went ahead on Sunday 8 December 2024, despite the cold rainy weather.

The Chairman Andrew Woolf, along with the 1406 Spalding Squadron Cadets, the Vice-Chairman Jan Whitbourn and over 30 runners, braved the awful weather to run the 4.5K route to raise funds for Blood cancer UK and Mencap.

Councillor Ingrid Sheard provided the runners with a pre run warm up before the Spalding Flower Queen, started the race. All entrants completed the course and received a Chairman's medal, presented by our Vice-Chairman, Councillor Whitbourn.

The Chairman thanked the Cadets for all their support, South Lincs Security for ensuring the route was debris and risk free, Crusader Traffic and Councillor Sheard, with a special thank you to all the runners for attending the first Santa Fun Run in Spalding.
