How do I make a complaint, compliment or provide feedback?

You can make your compliment, complaint or feedback in the way that is most convenient to you. You can:

  • Raise a Service Issue if you wish to put forward an issue with a council service you have received
  • Visit us in person at our South Holland District Council offices in Spalding
  • Call us 01775 761161
  • write to us:
    South Holland District Council
    Statutory Information Officer
    Corporate Improvement and Performance Team
    Priory Road
    Spalding
    PE11 2XE

If you do not feel a concern or issue has been addressed correctly and you still remain unsatisfied we encourage you to submit a formal complaint via our  Corporate Complaint Form.

For complaints relating to Housing Landlord Services, please visit Complaints about Housing Landlord Services.

Our opening times are:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 5pm
  • Wednesday from 9am to 5pm
  • Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.

If we don't have all the information we need to deal with your complaint/service issue we will have to contact you to request it. This adds to the time taken to resolve it. So before you make a complaint take a little time to prepare what it is you want to say. Be specific and focus on the issue - what, why, when, where, who - and briefly explain all the relevant circumstances surrounding your complaint.

It is important that the Council knows your name and how and where to contact you to enable your complaint to be investigated and a response sent to you.
