Transparency

The Local Government transparency code is issued to meet the Government's desire to place more power into citizens' hands to increase democratic accountability. It will make it easier for local people to contribute to the local decision making process and help shape public services.

The code was published on 27 February 2015 and can be viewed on GOV.UK: Local Government Transparency Code (opens new window).

We're required to publish performance data for the financial year ended regarding payment of valid and undisputed invoices.
View our financial accounts relating to parking and car parks.
We believe it is important to be open and transparent about what we pay our senior officers. You can view the salaries of all Officers who receive more than £50,000 per year.
See our expenditures of over £500 (including VAT) with external suppliers.
Local Authorities are required to publish details of the value of social housing stock that is held in their Housing Revenue Account.
Local authorities must publish specific information annually on relating to trade union facility time in accordance with The Transparency Code 2015 and The Trade Union.
