Constitution

South Holland District Council has a Constitution, a written legal document that guides the Council on its decision making processes. We follow these strict procedures to ensure that we are efficient, transparent and accountable to local people. Some of these processes are required by law, while others are a matter for the Council to decide. The constitution is ultimately approved by the full Council.

Standards and Code of Conduct

The Localism Act 2011 introduced a new regime for standards and dealing with complaints against members. Further information is available regarding the Council's Standards and Code of Conduct processes.
