Business Rates FOIs

We receive a number of freedom of information requests (FOIs) relating to Business Rates accounts. Responses to frequently asked FOIs will be published on this page every month, which will cover:

• accounts in credit
• new accounts raised in the previous month
• all accounts including mandatory and discretionary rate relief.

We are unable to supply details of individuals as this is personal data and is restricted by the Data Protection Act 2018 and is exempt from disclosure by virtue of Section 40(2)(a)(i) (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
