Re-use of Public Sector information

Under the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015, you have the right to ask our permission to re-use information you have obtained from us. The regulations apply to any recorded information (the same as the Freedom of Information Act), this includes parts of or whole documents. 

Some exemptions may apply to request for re-use however this will be made aware to the requestor when appropriate. For more detailed information and guidance, please visit the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) (opens new window). The OPSI also handle any complaints in relation to the Re-use of Public Sector Information.

To apply to re-use information, you should:

  • submit a request in writing
  • state your name and address
  • specify which document or pieces of information you would like to re-use, and 
  • state the purpose for which the document or information is to be re-used.
