Planning Application Fee Increase

Planning Application fees are increasing on 1st April 2025. Details of the new fees can be found - on the Planning Portal.

For any applications which are not considered valid at the time that the new fees come into force, we will be giving a period of 14 days to provide the required information in order to validate the application. If the required information is not provided within that timescale, applications will be returned and any subsequent submission will be subject to the new application fees.

In addition to our statutory planning fees, there are some additional discretionary administration fees for service (PDF, 176 KB).

Pay for your planning application

If you make your application via the Planning Portal, payments can be made online as part of the process. Alternatively, you can make payment on our payment portal (opens new window) by selecting the 'other payments' option, then selecting 'planning' and then 'application fees (planning)'.
