What this Privacy Notice covers

Your privacy is very important to South Holland District Council.

South Holland District Council is the Data Controller responsible for the personal information you may provide in relation to Community Projects. Why we need your personal data

Your information will be used for the purposes of running the project and/or to keep you updated on information relevant to the project.

The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6.1(e) under Statutory Power of the General Data Protection Regulations, as processing for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in exercise of our official authority.

Occasionally it may be necessary to process special category data, such as your health, disabilities, ethnicity and/or religion. Where it is necessary to process this special category data we do so under Article 9.2(d) of the General Data Protection Regulations in the course of legitimate interests.

If you are under the age of 18 we will require the permission of your parent or guardian to confirm acceptance of the entry requirements.

How your data is used

You details are used for running the project and/or to keep you updated on information relevant to the project. Your name may be displayed alongside artwork submitted. In the event that a payment is due to you, we will request your bank details to enable payment to be made to you.

We will not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing or sales purposes or for any commercial use, and we will not use your personal data in a way which may cause you harm. We will not further share your data without your consent.

We may ask to share winners' names and photographs to promote the project but will only do so with their consent.

How long the information is kept for

We will keep your information for two years after the completion of the project following which it will be securely destroyed.
