Corporate enforcement
The Council is responsible for enforcing a wide range of legislation. The purpose of the Corporate Enforcement Policy is to publicly summarise the Council's intended approach to bring about compliance with regulatory requirements.
Enforcement action can be taken across a range of Council Services and officers have a number of tools and powers that can be used. View the policy and additional guidance on Corporate Enforcement Policy (PDF) [213KB] (opens new window) .
