Direct Debit

The simplest way to pay your Council Tax or Business Rates is by Direct Debit. Direct Debit is a convenient and secure way to pay.

Set up a Direct Debit payment

If you are already paying by Direct Debit, your payments will continue each year - unless you cancel the instruction with your bank or building society.

Council Tax

You can set up your Direct Debit to pay your Council Tax online (opens new window).

You can edit the  Direct Debit Mandate (PDF) [203KB] (opens new window)  and return it to us by email: counciltax@sholland.gov.uk or or print and return by post. Alternatively call us on 01775 761161 during office hours and we'll do it there and then for you.

Business Rates

You can set up your Direct Debit to pay your Business Rates online (opens new window).

You can edit the  Direct Debit Mandate (PDF) [676KB] (opens new window)  and return it to us by email: businessrates@sholland.gov.uk or or print and return by post. If the bill is in your name and you are the bank account holder, you call us on 01775 761161 during office hours and we'll do it there and then for you.

Housing Rent

To pay your housing rent, please visit our Tenants Portal to arrange a Direct Debit online or you can call your Neighbourhood Housing Officer on 01775 761161.
