Meet the Housing Ombudsman event

About the Event

The Meet the Housing Ombudsman event hosted on Monday 7th October 2024 was launched by Rob Barlow, Chief Executive of South Holland District Council who introduced Andrea Keenoy, Chief Operating Officer of the Housing Ombudsman and her colleagues. It was a fantastic opportunity for tenants, contractors and housing professionals to come together, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions about the Housing Ombudsman Service.  Andrea Keenoy explained the roles and responsibility of the Housing Ombudsman service and attendees gained a clear understanding of how the Ombudsman service can assist with dispute resolution.

Participants had the chance to ask questions directly to the Housing Ombudsman. The session covered a wide range of topics, from tenant rights to landlord responsibilities, providing valuable insights and practical advice.
