South Holland District Council markets

Markets in South Holland are held in Spalding, Crowland, Holbeach and Long Sutton.

Our Markets are recognised tourist attractions in their own right; with market traders offering a diverse and attractive range of goods, services and fresh local produce such as fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, plants and flowers, toys, gadgets, fabrics, sweets, cakes, cards, household goods and clothing.  There's also an opportunity to have a drink and a tasty snack from one of the outdoor catering vendors.

Throughout the year, South Holland District Council hosts additional special markets alongside its regular markets working alongside our Events Team.

To keep up to date with all our offers, news and the general promotion of all our markets, please follow us on Facebook at @SouthHollandMarkets

Once you become a registered approved market trader you can book via the Market Stall Booking Hub.

Registered market traders will benefit from priority access over the market bookings for up to 7 days before the date of the market.

Please note that available market dates must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to ensure that safe market layouts are established each week.

The Markets Officer will be responsible for maintaining commodity balance within the markets and may refuse an application due to replication of a commodity within the market.

Charity pitches

Charities and local organisations can stand on any South Holland Market for free, once every 3 months. Subject to availability, a gazebo and tables may be provided for free. This can be used to sell products to raise money for the charity; or to raise awareness.

To apply for a charity stall, please complete the Markets online application form.
